Sue Averell

Biography

Internationally recognized for her textured expressionist art Sue has been creating professionally for over 20 years. Schooled at the Arts Center and Design of Pasadena, California, this Sausalito based artist has been continuoulsy creating masterworks of Florals and Urban landscapes using bright acrylic paint. Sue feels that through her expressive paint and color applications, the final result will show the energy put forth in the creation.

Sue also states, “Rather than painting photographic images, I strive to create my own reality..leaving ambiguities in the finished painting so that the collector can participate in the completion of the piece and see something new each time they visit the artwork”
